its been a while!

I've been so busy I haven't had time to post! So here is a (hopefully) big update!

Liam is almost 2 months old. He went to the doctor at 7 weeks for a check up and he weighed 11 lbs 5 oz. His 2 month check up is soon, I can't wait to see how much he's grown!

Tyler started work last week. He's working for a company that replaces power lines and poles, and responds to emergency situations out of state when big storms hit. But he works for a great company, starting pay is AWESOME for this area, and he works 4 days a week so we get to spend a 3 day weekend together every weekend unless they get called out.

Allen is finally starting to adjust to having a baby brother around, he's commented on how cute he is finally. Liam smiles at him and tries to talk to him so I think he's finally won Allen over.

I am starting the 30 day shred work out tomorrow, as well as taking the boys to the nature trail/playground every day the weather permits. I am determined to lose this pregnancy weight... and then some!

Breastfeeding is still going great! I love the bonding time, and I know it's giving him the absolute best. I've had to cut out dairy, which has made all the difference in the world!

Well, Liam just woke up! gotta run!

Liam is a month old!!!!!!

Oh my god! Liam is a month old tomorrow! Time has really flown by! He is so big now! On Wednesday he was 9lbs 14oz. He has his 1 month appointment on Monday.



^^ That is on its way here! I am so excited! Liam is going to look adorable in it!

Allen has really been acting out lately. I have been trying so hard to be gentle and patient with him, but it's been difficult. I am overly tired, and it's really easy to get flustered and take it out on him. I make an effort every day to be gentle with him though.

I have lost 24lbs so far. I have 22lbs more to go until I am back to my pre-pregnancy weight. I'd like to lose 15-20 more after that as well to be in really good shape and feel great about myself.

Liam is 3 weeks old!

Liam is 3 weeks old now! Time has REALLY flown by!! He has changed SO much since he was born. We love him so, so much. It's amazing how much he has brightened my life, and brought Tyler and I closer together.

Tomorrow we are taking Allen to the playground and to walk on the nature trail. I think it will be a nice outing. I want to get some pictures of me and Allen, and some of me and Liam.

When people bitch and complain on facebook constantly about their relationship issues it makes me so thankful that I have such a wonderful guy in my life. Sure we get irritated with each other once in a while, but who doesn't? He loves me so much and he makes me feel like I'm the most important person in the world to him. I also wish people wouldn't air so much dirty laundry on facebook, especially when they have children. It makes them look trashy and once the argument is over they can't take back what they said, nor can they get everyone to forget about what they posted.

just an update :)

So much has been going on recently.. Liam and I are being treated for thrush.. it is so painful but I am pushing through it because nursing is so important to me.

Allen is being so rebellious lately.. I know he is jealous and wants love, but its so draining.. The past 2 days Liam has wanted to nurse non stop.. every time I would finally get him to sleep and try to put him down Allen would come in and wake him up.. So I had to start all over again and it took even longer to be able to spend time with Allen.

I'm finally feeling pretty good recovery wise.. as soon as the weather is nice I am planning on starting to get Twister back in shape. Maybe starting tomorrow.. we'll see. There is a barrel race in town February 25th and i would LOVE to be able to go run.. but I'd have to work really hard getting him in shape and I'm not sure I'll have enough time between nursing Liam and giving Allen the attention he needs... but we'll see.

Liam is 2 weeks old!!!

Liam had his 2 week check up today. He has gained 12oz in the past 10 days! He's going to be a chunker! His next appointment is his 1 month well check on the 30th.. Then he'll be having a 2 month visit where they will want to give him his shots.. Tyler and I are still discussing which ones we want him to get, if any.. It's a really hard choice to make so we'll have to be doing a lot of discussing between then and now.

His cord stump fell off this evening also which means he can finally have real baths, and we can start using our cloth diapers! Many pics to come :)

My hotsling got here yesterday. I can't wait to try it out.

Well, I have to go and get dinner going!

I received a stretchy wrap(like the moby, but made by a wonderful WAHM company called baabaababy) as a surprise gift from an awesome mama on babycenter.. it took a few tries to figure out how to wrap it but it is so great! I wore Liam in the grocery store today and he was so content he slept the entire time. He was also warm and snuggly when we were walking back to our car, even though it was chilly outside.


I also received my Christmas present from my dad.. my Hot sling AP! Tomorrow after Liam's doctor appointment I'm going to try it out and see how I like it.

I keep looking at different types of wraps for when Liam outgrows the stretchy. I am in LOVE with girasol wraps.. they are SO beautiful(and expensive) here are some of my favorites:
