38 weeks!

I just got back from my 38 week appointment. Everything looks good so far.. Liam is head down and getting lower.. I didn't get checked for dilation.. so I have to wait an entire week to get checked! I asked and the Dr. said that it wasn't a real indicator of when I'll go into labor so waiting is better.. grrr.. I really wanted to know if I had made any progress yet.. The wait is killing me!

Next week I see my favorite doctor though, so he'll check me and he said a few weeks back that if I'm dilated and have a "favorable" cervix that he will augment labor to get it going while he is on call so he can be the one to deliver for me... I have my fingers crossed that next week everything will go well and I can have my baby.. if I'm not dilated at all next Tuesday I may ask to have a repeat csection on the weekend.
