I had my 39 week doctor appointment today.. I was supposed to see my favorite doctor, but found out they had me scheduled to see the certified nurse practitioner... I told them that I didn't want to see her and that I was supposed to see the doctor. We ended up waiting an hour after my appointment time to be seen, but he had to deliver a baby while we were there and that's what took so long.
He came in and checked me for dilation and stripped my membranes. I'm scheduled to go in for induction this Thursday at 5AM. I am so excited and extremely nervous!!! Maybe I'll go into labor on my own before then, but if not at least we know we'll have our little boy in our arms on Thursday!
I was going to take a belly picture today, but decided I'd rather my last belly picture be in the hospital!
